The Interventional Cardiology department at Fortis Memorial Research Institute (FMRI) is a one-stop healthcare centre for the diagnosis and treatment of heart and vascular disorders. It offers immense expertise in risk stratification, prevention and comprehensive management along with rehabilitation of patients with coronary and non-coronary cardiac problems.

We put our emphasis on following interventional cardiological procedures:
Interventional evaluation of narrowed arteries:
- Fractional flow reserve (FFR),
- Intracoronary Ultrasound (ICUS),
- Optical Coherence Tomography – (OCT)
Atherosclerotic coronary disease with “difficult changes”, especially:
- cutting balloon coronary angioplasty,
- Rotablation,
- Recanalization of chronic total coronary occlusions and bifurcation stenosis.
