Welcome to the Department of Internal Medicine. It is our privilege to be one of nation’s most effective and dynamic centres of internal medicine. The Department provides cross-specialty care for patients with the entire gamut of clinical conditions. Backed by tremendous expertise in the field, our consultants aim to provide comprehensive and compassionate care across all dimensions from curative health to preventative health.

There are three primary objectives of the department that include:

Our clinical programs include comprehensive care for adults with chronic problems, acute illness and age-based preventive healthcare. Our clinical providers join in collaboration with other specialist health care providers to improve the health of our patients. A number of our clinical sites offer specialized service to better meet patient care needs.

We specialise in management and after care not only of Life style diseases including Hypertension, diabetes, Bronchial asthma, obesity etc. but also treat chronic ailments of immune disorders like Arthritis and other multisystem diseases, metabolic diseases, haematological or blood related aberrations and make an attempt to screen and detect Cancer at its initiation. We are vigilant towards the onslaught of communicable diseases from Tuberculosis to Typhoid and Hepatitis and are ever alert to fight epidemics of Dengue and Malaria destroying the disease and sorting its complications in totality. We take pride in promoting preventive health, weight and diet management, stress control, and occupational health apart from tobacco and alcohol cessation partnering with our Psychiatry division.

No matter what the condition is, our skilled physicians have the solution for everything from puzzling diagnostic problems to handling severe chronic illnesses.
