Our objective is to help international patients access services at every step throughout FMRI. This ranges from arranging easy accommodations to delivering specialty care. We assign an International Patient Representative to guide you through the process of becoming a patient at FMRI. The representative continues to serve as a representative throughout your stay with us. He or she can connect you to the personalised services you would expect from a world-class health system.

From giving assistance in finding you the right doctor to determining treatment cost estimates to visa and travel assistance, we strive to become your one-stop partner for you journey through FMRI.

Treatment and end-to-end assistance during your stay - We will be with you at every step of your visit, from the moment you arrive till your departure. We will help you:

• Fix the initial consultation with the doctor(s)
• Schedule standard pre-surgical tests
• Explain your pre/post-surgical medication
• Airport pick-up and check-in
• Ensure that you get a comprehensive written medical report on discharge
• Arrange for a consultation with the dietician, who will then personalise our special international menu to your medical, religious and culinary needs
• Organise daily email updates to your referring doctor and your family back home
• Coordinator-cum-interpreter - Geographic boundaries are easier to cross than linguistic boundaries. We, at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, have coordinators who will provide translation services for you at all times.
• Recovery and leisure travel - Post treatment and recovery, if you would like to indulge in some sightseeing locally or across the country, we’ll be delighted to assist you.
