The ENT Department provides entire spectrum of services for patients with ear, nose, and throat-related problems. From diagnosis through to surgery and treatment, the department provides both planned surgery (elective and day cases) and emergency cases. The ENT service is supported by the audiology department where routine hearing tests are done and a hearing aid service is provided.
Most of our clinics are for general ENT conditions but we also run specialist clinics in the following areas:
- Suspected cancer
- Neck lumps
- Voice disorders
- Paediatric hearing loss
- Rhinology (all problems relating to the nose)
- Vertigo and dizziness
- Facial plastic surgery
- Emergency ENT problems
Moreover, we also perform following advanced procedures:
- Cochlear Implant
We work closely with the respiratory team to diagnose and treat obstructive sleep apnoea. We provide a specialised joint voice clinic with the speech therapy department and a one-stop neck lump clinic which is a multi-disciplinary clinic run by the ENT department in conjunction with the maxillofacial surgery department, the pathology department and the radiology department.
