Dr. Manash Biswas
Dr Manash Biswas is Director in the Department of Gynaecologic Oncology at Fortis Memorial Research Institute. He has 18 years of experience in Surg Gynaecologic Oncology. He completed his MBBS & MD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) Pune and later completed his Fellowship in Gynaecologic Oncology at the prestigious Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai in 2002-03. In 2010, he attended the Visiting Clinician program in Robotic and Gyn Oncology at the Mayo Clinic Rochester, USA. Dr Manash Biswas served in the Armed Forces at Cancer Centres of its tertiary care hospitals at Army Hospital, Research and Referral, Delhi, Command Hospitals of Pune and Bangalore. He has been Professor and Head of the Teaching department at AFMC Pune, CHAF Bangalore and ACMS Delhi. For his excellence in clinical work and patient care he was conferred the Chief of Air Staff Commendation in 2013.

- Original work - i) Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy in Cancer Cervix - A Phase II trial Research/Project work – i) Correlation of HPV DNA Hybridization study using hybrid capture 2 technologies with Video Colposcopy and PAP smear in cases of cervical dysplasia. ii) Assessment of ‘Risk-of-Malignancy Index’ to evaluate adenexal masses for purpose of referring patients to Gynaecologic Oncology centers of Armed Forces.
