Dr. Balkar Singh

With over 29 years of experience working in the national and international field of Anesthesiology, Dr. Singh’s contributions are widely recognized throughout Delhi NCR and beyond. Throughout his career, he has contributed significantly to the adaptation and application of the newest innovations in the field like video laryngoscopy, awake fiberoptic bronchoscopic intubation, and especially ultrasound-guided nerve blocks. He has extensive experience in difficult airway management and has kept abreast with the latest scientific innovations in that field. He has emphasized the role of empathetic counseling as a key to better Management and Leadership in his department. In his administrative role, he has been able to bring quality monitoring and quality improvements such as NABH, JCI and GreenOT accreditations to the department of anaesthesiology at FMRI.
