300 professionals participate in 5th Annual International ECMO Conference, ECMOASIA’19, organised by FMRI, Gurugram

Over 300 clinicians, students and other healthcare professionals including perfusionists and nurses attended the 5th Annual International ECMO Conference, ECMOASIA’19, organized by the Department of Critical Care Medicine, Fortis Memorial Research Institute (FMRI), Gurugram. The academic content was enriched by several national and international experts in the field, who spoke on various aspects of Extra Corporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO). Hands-on workshops for doctors, perfusionists and nurses were also held during the conference.

The Department of Critical Care Medicine, Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurugram, also announced the formal launch of it's Mobile ECMO’ programme to facilitate the delivery of ECMO therapy in distant areas.
